Home Alone

Mindy is gone working at Cameo Room, so I'm home alone with the kids.  So far I have: dropped Bodie and he's skinned his nose, hit Derrek in his nose with a baseball while playing catch (it bled pretty good, but at least it didn't break).  He DOES know how to get his mit up now. I've also made Mindy forget her overnight bag, given Aidan a brain freeze with too big a snow cone, also given Bodie a sunburn, and forgot Aidan and left him at pre school (they had to call me).  The house is a mess, the lawn is dying, but I AM studying!  And all the kids are still breathing, so I'm good.  Here is a pic of me, Bodie, and Aidan during our little adventure.  Oh yeah, they're also all asleep on the living room floor - and that's where they're sleeping tonight!  

Alec's Eagle Court of Honor

Alec with his Scoutmasters, Tyson and Rob.  Alec gave the Eagle Mentor pin to Tyson during the ceremony.  Now I just have to find another Tyson so Derrek can get his Eagle in a few years.

Really proud of Alec and all his hard work.  He did all the work, and we didn't even have to threaten him that much.  No, really, we're really really impressed with Alec.  There are more important things than cleaning your room, and this is one of them.  Good job Alec, we're proud!

Thanks to everyone who helped with this project and the Court of Honor.  It went really well.  Special thanks to those of your who came to the ceremony, and who had to travel a long ways to get there!  It meant a lot!
